Work in the mountain / Processing
This is English site
Sawyers processed the transported wood into boards and square timber according to its use. The large saw used in this process had a wide tooth if it was designed to cut the wood parallel to the grain, or a narrow tooth if designed to cut the wood perpendicularly to the grain.
Moreover, woodworkers built their hut in the mountain, cut down trees such as horse chestnuts, beeches and zelkovas, and made materials to be used for lacquerware with a potter’s wheel.
